Panoramico, suggestivo, ricco di biodiversità e non troppo impegnativo. Il percorso di Monte Altare si sviluppa su XX Km e raggiunge un’altitudine massima di 1.650 metri. Una strada di montagna, carica di tornanti, curve a gomito e piacevoli rettilinei per scalare lentamente il Monte godendo di una vista meravigliosa. Uscendo dal centro abitato, la prima tappa obbligata è al Ponte di Ferro, dove potrai assaporare acqua pura di sorgente e riposare le gambe. Ancora più su, si giunge alla Maddalena, altra sorgente pura e freschissima. Abbandonando l’asfalto e imboccando un piccolo sentiero potrai fare una piacevole sosta all’ombra dell’Albero Secolare. Un faggio di XX Anni che protegge il bosco con la sua esperienza… Ripreso il percorso e giunti a Monte Altare, il panorama è mozzafiato e vale certamente il prezzo della fatica.
